Venetian BlindsMy husband and I have recently bought a new house and we are currently waiting to move into it. The house itself is structurally sound, thank goodness, but the decoration throughout is not to our taste at all and we are determined to change every bit of it as soon as we can. One of the things that look really horrible throughout the house are the curtains, which are varying vile shades of muddy green and brown and look like they have been transported straight from the seventies. My husband has suggested that we put
Venetian Blinds up at the windows instead. When he first suggested this solution I was horrified. I thought that
Venetian Blinds would look just as horrible as the curtains that were already there. However, my husband explained that
Venetian Blinds had changed quite considerably since I had last looked and brought home a brochure to show me. I was amazed when I looked through the brochure. All of the blinds in it were really stylish and up to date and I thought they would look beautiful in our new home. We are going to order some next week so that at least we can have some privacy as soon as we mote in.
